The Rule Sudan variety, (also known as Sudan Rume) originates from the Buma Plateau in South Sudan, near the Ethiopian border. It was first studied as early as the 1940s.
This variety has a natural resistance to diseases such as coffee leaf rust, making it valuable for breeding, research, and the development of new coffee hybrids.
The Rume Sudan produces high-quality beans but has a relatively low yield compared to other varieties, which can make it more expensive and less widely available.
Our beans undergoes a classic natural processing method. Immediately after harvesting, the cherries are dried on African beds. They are turned periodically to ensure even drying and prevent spoilage.
Rume Sudan has a full body with a delicate and distinctive sweetness. It offers a balanced bitterness and a long aftertaste, with strong, rounded flavors derived from the Central American terroir.
It pairs well with most brewing methods and complements all types of milk.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
To keep your coffee beans fresh and flavorful for longer, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity, and heat. Always reseal the bag tightly after each use to preserve their aroma and taste. If the bag cannot be properly closed for any reason, consider transferring the coffee to another airtight container or sealed bag. Avoid storing coffee beans in the refrigerator, as the high humidity can affect their quality. For any questions, you can always contact us — we’re happy to help!
