Suke Quto is a farm and a washing station, founded and managed by Tesfaye Bekele – who’s an important coffee figure in the Guji region. Bekele gathers over 170 outgrowers from the area, which is considered to be the flagship of the Guji coffee flavor.
The coffee we have is made up of two local Ethiopian varieties – Welicho and Kurume – in natural and washed processes. The natural version, which is high in sugar content, is very fruit-forward, while the washed coffee has a more elegant and floral profile.
