Caturra is a natural mutation of the Bourbon variety, first discovered in Brazil in the early 20th century. It is a dwarf plant of Arabica coffee, making it easier to cultivate and harvest. Caturra produces more coffee and is more resistant to plant diseases than Bourbon.
These Caturra beans goes through this experimental process:
48 hours of dry anaerobic fermentation with dried cinnamon sticks and tartaric acid .Then, the coffee is washed and placed on raised beds mixed with cinnamon sticks until ideal moisture content was achieved
Cupping Notes: aromatic spices, chocolate, caramel.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
To keep your coffee beans fresh and flavorful for longer, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity, and heat. Always reseal the bag tightly after each use to preserve their aroma and taste. If the bag cannot be properly closed for any reason, consider transferring the coffee to another airtight container or sealed bag. Avoid storing coffee beans in the refrigerator, as the high humidity can affect their quality. For any questions, you can always contact us — we’re happy to help!
